Description

Kiteboard & Wing Foil Instructor Wanted in Sunny Northern Peru 🌴🌊

We’re looking for passionate and experienced kite instructors to join our rad team at Wild Kite Peru — where wind, waves, and good vibes meet!

📅 AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

  • Option A: From August 2026 to December 2026 /January 2027
  • Option B: From May 2026 to the end of 2026

💬 Languages: We’re looking for instructors who speak Spanish and/or English,or English and French/German.

🎓 Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching kiteboarding
  • Certified by IKO, VDWS, or BKSA
  • A true kitesurfing enthusiast who loves sharing the stoke with students and fellow riders

🌬️ The Spot: Lessons take place right in front of our new kite club — a wide, sandy beach with steady side-onshore winds. It is not a shallow-water spot, and you have to face a tiny to decent shorebreak, depending on the swell. Good overall teaching conditions, no crowds, and plenty of space to play.

🌞 The Lifestyle: We live the dream routine: surfing (or doing yoga in the morning)kite in the afternoon, and sunset beers and dinner in town with our awesome community. When the waves get too big for lessons, you’ll join kite surfaris to explore the best wave spots around.

🧘 Who We’re Looking For: Someone happy, easy-going, open-minded, and reliable.Relaxed but professional. Passionate about teaching and living the ocean life to the fullest. Let us know if you have other competencies like yoga instructor, SUP, wingfoil, personal trainer, web designer, or photographer...

💰 The Money

Let’s be honest — Peru isn’t the place where you’ll get rich, but it’s definitely a place where you’ll live well. Life here is still very affordable: a cold beer costs under USD 2, and a full local meal costs around USD 3.50.

We’re based in a remote paradise, not a crowded “kite factory” like other well-known spots. The wind usually blows in the afternoons, giving a 3–6-hour window for lessons. As everywhere, some days we have to cancel sessions due to light wind or big waves — that’s part of ocean life.

Our instructors typically work between 35 hours in slower months and up to 60 hours in good months. We offer USD 20/hour for private lessons, and a higher rate for semi-private sessions (one kite, two students).

Basic but cozy accommodation is included for core team members who help with club duty and light gear maintenance. If you prefer more independence, we’ll help you find your own place — prices start around USD 150/month for simple local housing.
