KITE INSTRUCTOR FOR PARACAS PERU

Hi! We are an IKO Center looking for an IKO Instructor for the high season in Paracas, Peru. We are looking for someone for the last 3 months of the season. We are located in a flat-water spot with perfect conditions for teaching and learning. We get wind almost every day with speeds ranging between 14 to 25 knots. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Awesome Kitesurfing lessons on various levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced);

• Enforce School operational rules in order to keep smooth, safe and organized classes/rentals;

• Ensuring students/rentals are fully engaged, happy and satisfied so that there is repeat business and our clients recommend our school and service to others;

• Providing advice to customers in terms of adequate equipment to their ability level and the current wind/sea conditions;

Required Skills:

• Fluent ENGLISH and SPANISH is a MUST. French is a big PLUS;

• Valid IKO certification;

• Solid safe IKO Kitesurfing instruction skills;

• Minimum two years previous experience, able to give advanced lessons is a plus;

• Knowing how to drive a boat/jet ski is a plus (for rescues due to side offshore wind);

• Positive vibes, proactive, responsible, organized, and sporty.  Teamwork and service oriented personality;

• WING  instructor is a plus;

Paracas is a small town with few places to hang out so the team usually becomes like a family who shares everyday together, normally with clients too so sociable and easygoing people are what we’re looking for. 

Activities you can do in Paracas and surrounding areas:• Amazing kite spots. Not only do we have our flat-water spot but there are also other spots inside the Natural Reserve, one with waves. Incredible landscapes while kiting and lots of wind!• Morning surf sessions in the Reserve.
