Kitesurf/Wing-foil Instructor

KITE LAB Langebaan is seeking passionate and experienced kitesurfing and wing-foil instructors to join our team for the upcoming season in one of South Africa's premier kitesurfing destinations.

About the Role:

We are seeking qualified instructors to teach kitesurfing and wing-foil lessons for a 3–6 month seasonal position starting October 2025. Based at our beachfront facility, just 100 meters from Langebaan’s main kitesurfing beach, you’ll work in ideal conditions with consistent wind, flat water, and clear skies through March 2026. Located a scenic drive from Cape Town, our facility offers access to Shark Bay’s shallow, turquoise waters, perfect for all skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct professional kitesurfing lessons for students of all skill levels
• Provide wing-foil instruction and coaching
• Ensure student safety and progression
• Maintain and care for instructional equipment
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the KITE LAB brand

Requirements:

• Certified kitesurfing instructor qualification (IKO, VDWS, or equivalent)
• Wing-foil teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Physical fitness and swimming ability
• Passion for kitesurfing and teaching
• Professional attitude and reliability

Location:

Based in Langebaan, Western Cape, South Africa - just a scenic drive from Cape Town along the R27. Our facility offers immediate access to the warm, windy waters of Langebaan Lagoon and the famous Shark Bay with its shallow, turquoise waters perfect for instruction.
